Thanks for the extra background which helps us all with our worrying. The market is like a rubber ball isn't it! Up/ Down...Repeat. Repeat. All of your hard work is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

All has occurred as you predicted with the Markets and EU in particular. One thought occurs; what about poor old Nouriel Roubini – ‘Dr Doom’, and his current tour of Australia predicting doom and gloom perpetually, but also this time predicting a crash in Australian property values amongst his other dire predictions for the World’s economy. A forecast rate drop by the Reserve on Tuesday is going to make him look extremely foolish (though he does a pretty good and consistent job of doing that all by himself usually).
I am constantly bemused at the seriousness with which this clown is taken by otherwise sensible organisations/media. Logic dictates that if you predict doom for long enough (in his case years and years) you must eventually be right. That doesn’t though, make your predictions valuable! A case in point as an example, is his prediction of a crash in the Oz property market. A brief look at the underlying and historical facts would tell even the most naïve investor that there has never been a ‘crash’. Sure markets fall and rise as do all markets, but the Australian property market has been pretty constant and simply doesn’t take those giant drops. There are several reasons why this doesn’t happen which I won’t go into here since we focus on shares. I merely use this as an example to point out to subscribers how little Roubini’s predictions are worth and not to take him seriously when making investment decisions. It is worth pointing out also that he works at a University – subscribers may like to ask themselves, how come with his supposed knowledge and superior intellect he has to have a position as a glorified teacher?

Just writing you a note of appreciation. Last week my whole portfolio got wiped-out, but I had the Trident Protection strategies in place! It wasn't fun to see my whole investment drop in one swipe. However, taking your advice (as usual), I re-invested the cash I had and in two days it returned 17%. I'm basically 7+% ahead as where I was last week. I have nothing but praise for the work and information that Lance and his team provide. For someone working a normal mon - friday job like myself , the likelyhood of compiling the detailed information and insight for stocks on the Trident list ane economic views would be near impossible.

I value the information highly.
Have I lost money , sure , but I have also made out of the information that lance has provided. Is it enough to retire on , not even close, but being in the market and with the data that Trident provides an informed decision can be made and the goal of working toward a retirement stock portfolio is something to strive for.

Nothing is a sure thing , if it were, everybody would be making piles of cash all the time. The market and placing money in it is a risk. Even I know that as a absolute novice.
No one , not even Lance can forsee market fluctuation , but he can provide an experienced call based on fundamental and other market analysis at the time.

I hope you are doing ok, and are not too stressed by all of the recent stockmarket volatility. Get some sleep today, and remember, we are all adults and completely and utterly responsible for our own decisions to buy or sell stocks.

I think the way subscribers feel and react to these situations gives a great insight into their risk profile as an investor, and their tendency to engage or not engage in short term catastrophising.

The system you have protects investors fantastically, and I can attest to this, having let a few stocks drop below the stop price in the past and lose more than was necessary.

As a subscriber, I am exceedingly happy, and I believe this is by far the best newsletter in the world, and by far the greatest value for money.

I am moving my super over shortly into a SMSF to buy into the growth fund (great time I reckon!!!!). I have taken a hit like everyone else, but life goes on, and I do not need to liquidate anyway. I have been a subscriber for well over a year and I want at the outset to thank you very much for such an excellent and encouraging service. It is really good to receive a realistic and honest view of the market and reminded of Kipling's apt words 'IF you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you'. You seem to gauge the real tenor of the market very accurately and I am grateful.

First off I would like to congratulate Lance on his super amazing work, and the staff. You guys are all amazing and are doing a super job. I've been a member for less than a year and also an investor in the Fund.

I must say though, thanks to Lance, coming in as a newbie and executing his principles almost flawlessly I've been making hit some super returns on my own stock picks. My best stock pick has netted me a little over 30% profit, and out of 15 stocks I only have 3 in the red which are down 3%.

As usual, you were right.

I have finally learnt from you after 2 years, it almost alway makes sense to go against the herd in the stockmarket. While I have no doubt paid more than you for many of the stocks in the portfolio (my funds transfer took some time due to my own fault) and I could not take advantage of the deepest part of the dip, I still paid below your buy up to prices on all stocks I purchased. I took 6 allocations after saving money over time to do so and waited for the dip. I was very tempted to buy XXXX way above your buy up to price before the earnings announcement (lucky I had the discipline to stick to the trading rules). These fundamental decisions like ensuring having funds available and following ALL THE RULES really make a difference. The main point of the trading system I am learning right now is the buying discipline. When the market bounced the other night, I took a posn in XXXX (worried it would get above the buy up to price), only to see it dip down the next night. Instead of trading in a disciplined way, and waiting for the market to drop in my favour, I followed the herd and bought on an upswing. I am still happy with the purchase, but could have taken far better advantage of the dip the next night. I am going to start following your specific buy allocations, instead of getting frightened I will miss out and setting an allocation just below the buy up to price based on the market the night I am trading. It is time to start saying to myself, if I miss out on once stock, so be it, there will always be more!!!!

I have now built the trident portfolio to over 25 stocks (yippee) with almost all in profit (XXXX one of 2 exceptions and only recently purchased). It will be a long time before I take any positions in Australia, USA seems to be where the recovery will gain momentum!!!!

I am a relatively new trader who has enjoyed(?) keeping my financial advisor in the manner to which I have allowed him to become accustomed. I blame no one but myself because during and through the early 2000's up to the GFC I was seeing good returns paid into my SMSF and we were making more than we could spend - in reasonable terms. I took little if any interest about where/how the returns were being generated. The GFC changed all that!

A good friend had mentioned the "Trident Confidential" Newsletter last Easter (Easter 2010) and the result was I finally joined the ranks of the believers later in the year. I was extremely tentative and read everything I could get my hands on... however one word from Lance stuck in my mind once I started to revitalize my portfolio - and that was... "PATIENCE". How true it is, and I am now once again enjoying comfortable returns based on the observance of that one word of advice along with Lance's recommendations from time to time.

Congratulations and thanks are also in order for launching the Trident Global Growth Fund... may we all enjoy a profitable association through our relationship with the Fund.

I would just like to say a big thank you for your informative newsletter.

I entered the market really for the first time in March this year. Based on advice from friends I bought a whole lot of rubbish and watched my money fade away, sadly. I then became a TC member mid year and have focused on getting rid of the rubbish and buying some of your recommendations. Thankfully I am now on track.

The point of this note is to say a big thank you and also to let you know that I am an Australian living in Burma. Communications is a big issue here especially with the internet. I was just going through my records for this financial year and looking at the stocks. In my Australian portfolio, the cost of abiding by the rules which preserve our capital is far exceeded by just the profits of one winner that you picked in XXXX! And of course XXXX isn't the only winner that you've picked this year - there are lots! This has reinforced the importance of keeping to the rules, because in the long run they are not even costly to use.

I follow your strategy exactly as you teach it. I really can’t understand why a newbie would want to do it any other way. It’s truly beyond me. By following your strategy I get pretty much the same results as you and I am very happy. On a typical morning I spend 7-8 minutes updating my records except for Wednesday where I study your new report for about 30-40 minutes. This takes a total of around 60-70 minutes per week. I first subscribed July 2009, it was not a promising start. There were not many shares on the buy list & many had risen so much I could not see much hope eg ISRG by 200%. The system needs some time.
So far this calendar year Lance is up 59%, the market -2%. I run my portfolio on a financial year basis. For the 4 months since the 1st July 2010 my portfolio based on Lance's rules is up 40%. Please pass on my congratulations and thanks to Lance. I have spent thousands in Financial Education in the last two years on Robert Kiyosaki, John Burley, Anthony Robbins, George Fontanills (Optionetics) and Donald Trump just to name a few. All very wise men with great product, their individual products have laid a great foundation for my financial educational. Problem is I have spent thousands and to date I have made nothing from their advice.
On the other hand, Lance's advice in Trident Confidential November Issue stock picks, has made the cost the purchase of the Ultimate Wealth and Freedom Library plus enough to treat myself with other great things. The information is in layman terms, easy to apply in the Australian Market and sound advice.
If only the Ultimate Wealth and Freedom Library had been at the top of my shopping list rather than near the bottom, I would have not spent so much on all the other reference material I have purchased and instead have been able to spend more on Lance's great investments. Not to worry I now have an Automatic Investment Plan in place that invests 10% of my income into a Cash Mgmt account. From there I'll invest it into investments as suggested in Lance's Wealth Creation Newsletters. Thanks, keep up the excellent work.

Dear Trident (Lance Spicer and staff)
Just a quick line to thank you for dispatching the Ultimate Wealth Privacy and Freedom Library CD. It arrived in no time and I was reading them within minutes of tearing open the envelope. It has taken me ten years of going to endless Shares & Options seminars to hopefully lead me by the hand to the stockbroker to finally have someone put the whole thing into plain Aussie language with no frills and no holds barred.

Even if I wasn't going to invest in shares, the books alone, are entertaining. Lance has written them in a language that I can understand and in only a week I am able to interpret some of the jargon and understand better how to research all the info posted in stock market reviews, charts, reports etc which until this week, was like trying to understand a drunken Chinaman.

His views on some of the "freedom & privacy" issues that confront us are very enlightening, given the fact I had been studying Private Administration Practice for some years and have seen some interesting "stuff" presented to the ATO and a few of the large Australian creditors with interesting results. For the price of a couple of speeding fines and a parking ticket, this is very good value for money.

The only thing he might have left out of his books was probably the fact that it takes a bit of guts to start investing. That was part of my problem. Now having some knowledge on the subject that is no longer an issue for me. All the best and hope Trident are around for a long time.

I have just confidently renewed my annual membership after my first 12 months. After reading several of your books and watching from the sidelines for several years and after a disastrous time trying Forex and then Options (which basically left me broke), I finally decided to listen to you. Although I have had to start small ($10,000) I am happy to say my bank balance is starting to grow and hopefully over the next few years, put me onto the road to total recovery.
